We’ve all heard this phrase throughout our lives, but it has a very special significance when psi in involved. We’ve also heard the phrase “Nature abhors a vacuum”, especially in movies.
What if ghostly manifestations such as apparitions, poltergeist outbreaks, apports and luminous anomalies are simply extensions of our living, subconscious psyches coupling with the localized environment?
What if we, as living human consciousness, are functioning as biological operational amplifiers accessing energies around us, and then somehow mediating them as if through an internal waveguide or focal plane?
Remember the the phrase “Monsters from the Id” from the movie Forbidden Planet, wherein alien machines were able to access the subconscious thoughts, feelings and whims and turn them into physical reality that ended up attacking and destroying themselves?
Personally, I find it more amazing that we as living organisms can access, manipulate and direct incredible energies which are then put to work to accomplish our subconscious wants and needs than if discarnate intelligences were the culprit. The evidence strongly suggests that there are no demons and monsters out there preying upon us as often discussed in almost every paranormal reality show.
In my book Aliens Above, Ghosts Below: Explorations of the Unknown, I document and chronicle many such events that support this theory and hypothesis. What if we’re able to electromechanically harness said forces and put them to work in the physical world to better serve our immediate needs of existence on earth?
If we cannot eventually apply what we’re learning in parapsychology, why then are we doing the work? If such knowledge cannot improve us in at least one way, then what’s the point. Without the presence of living human beings, paranormal phenomena would probably never occur. If a tree falls in forest and there’s no one to hear it does it make a sound? The answer is probably NO, as sound is only relevant if there’s someone or something to hear it. The essence of this premise is that WE are at the center of all that occurs paranormally. It’s as if we’re haunting ourselves, so-to-speak. Something to ponder?
