The benchmark of hauntings?

________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Contrary to what most people believe, The Entity case was not the high water mark of my career.  Just two short years following the 1974 Doris Bither investigation, we encountered what very well may be the most haunted location in Los Angeles.

As chronicled in the first chapter “A Haunting Thought” of my book Aliens Above, Ghosts Below: Explorations of the Unknown, is the Holly Mont case.  While investigating this case during the late spring and summer of 1976, we encountered the most pronounced level of sustained psychokinetic events of my now 43-year research effort.

From being showered with thousands of pennies apporting and falling from nowhere, to a hardened TV journalist being chased out of the house by a variety of flying objects, to learning that a body is still buried beneath the large mansion, and where and spontaneous pyrokinetic events readily occurred.  This location has it all.

The duration and frequency of activity within and around this property, is unequalled.  During our last visit during the fall of 2008, we discovered that this house sits almost directly above several intersecting and active earthquake faults in conjunction with their being a shallow river running beneath the property.  You want power to sustain paranormal events, here it is.

If I could pick but one location to focus money and resources on in the hope of obtaining significant new data, this property would be it.  When reading this chapter in my book it comes across more like an amusement park due to the almost constant bombardment of paranormal activity. In fact, had I not been there myself I would find it hard to believe.

Another case from Chapter One was in Inglewood all the way back in 1970, and the apparition that appeared there almost killed me.  Had it not been for some of the other guests attending this event, I might have died on that night.  The question here is, what attacked me and precisely how, forget the why.

This house still stands in Inglewood and as has been occupied by tenants of all ethnicity’s ; African American, Caucasian, Hispanic, Asian, etc., all of whom have had encounters with the spectral occupants for more than forty years.

Jumping forward to 2001 is Chapter 7 “An Irreplaceable Loss: The Life and Death of A Poltergeist Agent”, which was the final chapter I added to my book before it was published.  This case involves Barry Conrad’s now deceased girlfriend, Lisa McIntosh and the incredible array of psychokinetic activity that surrounded her and Conrad between October 2001 and her untimely death from cancer in the summer of 2006.

This case is probably one of the best documented instances of sustained paranormal activity surrounding someone I knew.  Making it all the more intriguing is the fact that the extraordinary events surrounding Lisa directly correlated to her physical health.

Clinical validation of this type is extremely rare as was my ability to personally experience some of these events.  Again, if I did not know Barry Conrad as well as I did as a friend and colleague, I probably wouldn’t have believed a word they said.  It’s the skeptic in me.  I cannot help, it’s the way I was trained.

The last case worthy of note here began for us in 2005 and is briefly mentioned towards the end of Chapter 7.  This case was located on Cielo Drive in northern Beverly Hills within Benedict Canyon, a few doors down from where the 1969 Sharon Tate murders occurred in 1969.

Located upon a USGS certified geomagnetic anomaly site, this environment made many, including myself feel very ill.  The phenomena associated with this extraordinary property included apparitions, disembodied voices, apports as well as many other types of paranormal events.

For a more detailed discussion of this case, read other blogs on this site entitled: “Cielo Drive Convergence: The Ultimate Field Laboratory”, and “Messengers of Deception: The Scandalous Truth Behind Paranormal Reality Shows”.   The truth of what’s really going on out there is far stranger than we could ever imagine, but we’re getting very close to unlocking a big part of this incredible puzzle.

This case may scare the daylights out of you, but it will not bore you.  The question here is as to whether or not Sharon Tate, Jay Sebring, etc. are indeed haunting this most unusual property.  There’s been a substantial amount of misinformation being propagated about this case which severely impairs the continuation of further research efforts at this location, far more than it’s potential biologically deleterious effects linked to such anomalous magnetic environments.
