Healing from within?

It’s generally accepted within the parapsychological research community that psychic healing is a product of psychokinesis, that is, mind-over-matter.  In fact, today, some academics prefer to call psychokinesis mind-matter interaction, which is fine with a few generalized exceptions.

The question still remains, what exactly is psychic healing and can it be objectively validated in a laboratory.  Well yes, it has been validated to a degree,  but as to the precise operational mechanism transpiring between healer and patient, that is another matter altogether.

Many people who have been healed describe the sensation of internal heating as if microwaves were exciting localized water molecules in their bodies. This might be similar to what one feels during an MRI imaging session, wherein the localized area being imaged heats up from the application of radio-frequency and magnetic fields used to generate the image.

This is quite intriguing turn of events, as it appears that when PK is focused for use within the human body as healing, there is a localized heating effect perceived, yet in macroscopic RSPK where massive objects are thrown around, there is no heating effects observed.  What is this telling us about the nature of the energy involved and how it functions?

The same might be true of people sensing cold spots within allegedly haunted environments that cannot instrumentally detected, yet there is the presence of an unusually high-amplitude magnetic field.  Such powerful magnetic fields can cause the sensations of both heat and cold without concomitant temperature shifts.

It wouldn’t come as a surprise to discover that healers are individual acting as biological operational amplifiers, wherein they access forces around them and then somehow function as waveguides or focalplanes.

This brings up the idea that healers are really not supplying the energies that heal.  Healers may act more like a lens that focuses sunlight to burn paper.  If healers were able to generate sufficiently powerful electromagnetic fields (EMF) capable of dramatically affecting other people, such might be self-injurious to them, much the same way that if EMF’s were responsible for macroscopic RSPK events, they would severely damage both the persons involved and the immediate environment through generated heat as “work” is being done.  You know, the old F=MA of the second law of thermodynamics?

If and when instruments record moderate EMF’s around such unique individuals, it’s more likely that the instruments are being directly affected by the PK of the person rather than it’s detecting a humanly generated EMF related to the event.  Does this then suggest that poltergeist agents could be turned into healers?  Good question.  I suspect that the answer lies within the psychodynamic functions of said agent.  My book Aliens Above, Ghosts Below: Explorations of the Unknown speaks to some of these issues in far more detail that here and make it somewhat clear that whatever force is operative here, it is NOT electromagnetic, nuclear or gravitational.  Well the, if not those, then what?  How about Zero Point Energy (ZPE)?
